Great results from my first batch

Time flies and it's already another year gone and another year for us to fight for. Last year around December, i got my results from my first two batches. So below are my observation and descriptions of my first attempt.

Well in my first attempt, there are success and failure. So let me describe the failure first. The second batch fails as it does not produce the enzyme and also due to i did not monitor it properly. As it does not ferment properly, there are not much enzyme produce and it smells really bad. Thus i have to throw it away. I think the main problem is the container itself which it's a plastic about size of oil bottle. i think is not air tight enough thus it does not ferment properly. And secondly contributing cause could be by the ingredients i used.

the first batch is a success and currently i stores it in old wine bottle. I got about 1000 ml enzyme. the final product has a bit of citrus alcohol smell to it. My mum has used it for some cleaning in the kitchen and she commented it does lessen the odor in the kitchen especially the sink area where all the cleaning and chopping happens. So i'm really feel good about it.

I also use it for one of my plant as fertilizer. though it's not really scientific proven but i can see my plant growing well now. So let me experiment more on this area and let you guys know about it. I'm doing third batch now which started on February last month using pineapple skins which is the same i used in my first batch. Hope the third batch will be successful. For the time being, there are white layer of foam which I suspect the ferment and it does match what the guide i'm using.

I'll post more on later on this. :-D Maybe my next post is my formula of waste enzyme. Any comments do let let me know and i'll try my best to help out. See ya!

Follow up from my first post..

Today i was doing second batch of enzyme using different material.. namely i used pineapple skins and orange skins. I'm not sure is this works out well as i need to wait for 3 months. Why it took so long.?? (Just wondering if there's any way to shorten the process.... Any takers??)

Well today here's the combination i used:
  1. 2000 ml of pipe water
  2. 600g of fruits (300g of pineapple and 300g of oranges)
  3. 200g of brown sugar
This time i took some pictures including my batch. Enjoy! Until next time... see ya!

My first Garbage Enzyme in making

Today i just prepare my first garbage enzyme. Well i got to know about it from a forwarded email. At first i thought it's just rubbish forward email and i just click open the power point slides. And boy i am interested on the concept and it's potentials!

Thus today i'm making one now. So this blog will be the live logbook and hope my endeavours into garbage enzyme paid off later. Okay enough of my intro and more into my enzyme.

I'll post more of it later. So anyone is making any of the enzymes?? i would like to know more of course.
